Unauthorized Use of API Certification Marks
API has found diesel exhaust fluid in the marketplace (shown below) that are displaying the API diesel exhaust fluid certification marks without API's authorization. These diesel exhaust fluids (DEF) have not been approved by API as meeting the ISO 22241 or ISO 18611 diesel exhaust fluid standards and are not eligible to display the API certification marks.
